Happy Thanksgiving!!! (w/ Evil Gobble Gobble)
24 11 2011Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Recently, I’ve met a lot of people going through crappy times (to put it lightly). It’s made me realize this year just how easy most of us actually have it. I hope your Thanksgiving is full of reasons to enjoy what you have, and–may I say–in an abundance of joy.
Now, how do we say Happy Thanksgiving best on Wyvern’s Peak? By drawing an evil turkey, of course!
Seeya! 🙂

It’s Halloween. Mind your neck, beware the Dullahan.
31 10 2011Happy Halloween, everybody! May it be a spooky and outstanding day for everyone.
So I was having trouble deciding what monster would be worthy of posting for the last day of the countdown (Halloween Day itself), when I remembered a drawing I did a while back. It’s not my best work, but it is one of my favorite monsters and a sketch I’ve been meaning to put up anyways.
Meet the Dullahan, the spine-whip wielding headless horseman from Irish folklore, inspiration of that decapitated horror that haunted dear Ichabod Crane and the rest of Sleepy Hollow. A fitting spirit for such a day as today.
Happy Halloween.

Cairn Ifax, The Executioner (Full Reveal!)
31 10 2011I’m so excited about this one. There are a couple of things I would’ve done differently, had I more time and energy, but all in all?

Mokujin or Treebeard?
30 10 2011Alright, so this one actually got a little messed up. The leaves, while not particularly hard or anything new for me, I tried to do a bit differently. It kinda worked, and it kinda messed it up, in my opinion.
(But if you can’t spot it, I won’t tell.)
This guy is called “Mokujin.” My four year old brother named him. That’s right, fellow gamers. Fear the day my little brother grows up and gets his own gaming profile.

29 10 2011Have you seen Trollhunter? NO!? (Or was that a yes?) Either way, go watch it (again?).
In the meantime, take a look at two uglies inspired by the awesome film:

Three Days ‘Til Halloween – Kerberus
28 10 2011So I was looking through the monsters I’ve drawn recently and trying to decide what I should share next. Maybe it’s a month old and on notebook paper–*GASP!*–however I felt I had to share this somewhat rough take on the Greek hellhound we all know and love. My cousin asked me to draw him Cerberus, one of his favorite monsters from the Percy Jackson books. I said sure, but only if I could put a little McGannon flare in there.
Which I did.
Ladies and gents, I give you, “KERBERUS“.
